| I'm meeting with a prospective client shortly and need to show a few websites I
created, but won't have an Internet connection during the meeting. I know I can
simply open the homepage of my working files in my browser, but I'm finding
that any link that is only pointing to a directory and not an actual page won't
automatically find the index page in that directory. Instead, the browser
switches to my computer's desktop and opens the actual directory on the desktop.
Is there a way to "publish" the site properly locally, so I can move through
the sites smoothly? These sites have a lot of content--about 100 pages, and
editing individual links would take a long time.
Any ideas would be greatly apprecaited. I'm desperate. I'm on Mac OS 10.4.4,
if that helps. Thanks.
