Dreamweaver - Database Tables Disappeared

I know numerous other users have had this problem but I still haven't managed
to find the answer yet.
I'm developing an application in Dreamweaver 8 (XP Pro SP2 )using ASP.net.
There is no problem in connecting to the database, everything test just fine
but when I go to view the tables they have disappeared. ????? I see by the
postings I'm not the only one to experience this problem ...... What is the
solution? is there a patch or something for this..... Help please.
