| :confused; In the past I've successfully integrated Flash animations into my
website. Now I want to integrate an animated GIF. It works in my PREVIEW
browser, but not in the actual Internet browser. Any tips?

To be perfectly honest I would drop the idea, animated gifs are old hat and
distractive, there are certain exceptions but rare. Have you got a URL to
the problem page?

| Thanks for responding. My brother-in-law asked me to help with his website and
he wants the animated GIF. Here's the URL:
http://www.neuvationcycling.com/wheels/wheels.html. I just discovered that
the animation works on my husband's computer (in IE), but not on mine. I've
checked all my IE settings and they appear to be the same as his settings.

| Same happened to me. When I uploaded as binary, all was good.
AND,
animated gifs are NOT outdated when used correctly. The are a brilliant marketing tool to
gain attention to a specific area of a web page.

| In IE, TOOLS > Internet Options > Advanced > Multimedia > Play animations.
Is that enabled?
