There is a site selling DW MX 2004 for like $70. Is MX 2004 even worth having or should i just spring for DW 8? If i buy MX 2004, would i get a free upgrade to DW 8??

If you buy MX 2004 you will not get the update for free, as far as I know. If you are doing major website programming its worth the money. But if your making a simple site, its ok to use MX 2004

Check with the site and see if you can register the version that they are
selling. I'm better you cannot.
