Author Dynamic web page??

Hi, this is my first post here so sorry if it's in the wrong section.

I need to create a set of pages that when an image/text is inserted the
previous image/text would automatically drop onto the next page, is this
possible? What would be the best way to do it?

Any help would be much appreciated

I don't understand what you are describing. You want this to happen IN DW?

ok let me try to explain it better,

I have 5 pages with 10 items on each page, when I enter an item on the first
page, I want to have the last item on that page drop onto the next page and so
on until all the pages are full. What I'd like to know is, is there a way of
doing this without the use of a database...

is that any clearer :)

thanks

You want this to happen in DW? I can neither imagine how or why....

It sounds like the OP wants this to happen IN DESIGN TIME. I can't
imagine....

I don't think so. I think you'll find it's something like a "News" page
with 10 current items - when the latest news item is put at the top,
the older items drop down with the last one dropping off the bottom
onto a "Previous News" page.

Why is not really the issue Murry, I wanted to know if it was a possible
alternative to using a database. But thanks for your reply anyway.

a database can be very handy when dealing with dynamic content, but there is no situation where a
database is absolutely necessary.
You can build very complex dynamic sites, even a CMS, without a database, by dynamically writing and
storing all the data in *files* rather than in a database, and open/write/modify the files
dynamically to get the same results than a database.
I don't know if you're open to using a server-side language but NOT a database, if yes, it's possible.
