Dreamweaver - image map and rollover picture

sorry for my english. i want to trigger a rollover picture with an image-map
(area shape), is that possible? a picture should be swapped only when the mouse
is over the image-map, when the mouse is over a defined part of the picture,
not when the mouse is over the rest of the picture.
(the new picture should be pre-loaded like with a normal roll-over).
can anybody give me a hint?
