Just create an insert page that creates a new review row and pass it the resourceid.

I tried that but when i run the page,Explorer gives me an error message saying
I must use an updateable query.

The 2 tables I have are-

"table1" - with ITEMID (autonumber) and TITLE.
"table2" - with ReviewID, itemid, reiviewtext, score.

The tables are linked in Access with a 1-many relationship between the ITEMID
fields (ie one item has many reviews).

In Dreamweaver I need to write into table2 to add reviws based on ITEMID from
table1,but the REVIEWID in table2 isn't incrementing.l

I have got Dreamweaver to display existing items and their reviews,but the
insert new review just isnt working.

Is your recordset for this insert based on a table, or a query? Is the ReviewID an autonumber? Are you including it in the insert?
