Optional editable areas with Firefox
|
|
| AWS web 2005-09-15, 7:29 pm |
| I have a main template that I then built 4 sub templates from. there is a swf
file in the banner of the main template. It is set as an editable area. made
the swf an optional editable area by adding @@("")@@ after the
beginning statement for the editable area, in each of the 4 sub templates,
because each will have a different swf in it. the template works fine BUT the
swf wraps in Firefox. It looks fine in IE. I've tried changing the CSS to
eliminate padding and marins but nothing seems to work. Here is a link to a
page for example.
http://www.anniewrightschool.org/NE...ls/ls_index.htm
I'd appreciate any help.
<!-- InstanceBeginEditable name="top_pic" -->@@("")@@
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#ve
rsion=6,0,29,0" width="600" height="132">
<param name="movie"
value="../NEW_LOOK/images/animation/common_top_slides.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<embed src="../NEW_LOOK/images/animation/common_top_slides.swf"
quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="600" height="132"></embed>
</object>
<!-- InstanceEndEditable --></div>

| Change this -
"Annie Wright School logo" name="logo" width="190" height="133" border="0"
id="logo" /></a>
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase=
to this -
"Annie Wright School logo" name="logo" width="190" height="133" border="0"
id="logo" /></a>
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase=
and see what happens.
