Author Site Site Root in DW for SSI

The issue I face is that the site I maintain is in a sub directory so my
links/SSI read like this:

/subdirectory/example.html

This makes it work when loaded to the server, however in DW it doesn't
show because DW wants it like this:

/example.html

Is there a way to set a preference in DW to locate my SSIs?

Thanks

Travis

I can't imagine that it wants that slash. But I'm not sure what your problem
is, since SSIs in subdirectories work fine for me. Did you start your local
testing server?

Hmmm maybe I can phrase this a bit better.

I don't have a local testing server however DW will recognize and
display my SSIs that are written in this format;

<!--#include virtual="/pibs/pictorial/menu.htm" -->

Problem is the pibs folder only exists on the server and thus DW will
display this only when it is written like this:

<!--#include virtual="/pictorial/menu.htm" -->

Which will not work on the server.

I just noticed that in DW8 (I loaded the trial version) my SSIs are
displayed but not in MX2004.

No DW MX2004, I loaded the trial version of DW8 and they are being
displayed.

Well for now I'll put it to rest, but if I can't get the upgrade I'll be
back.
