| Does anyone know of an extension, or code, that allows text to open below a
selectable link? For example, see this site: http://www.geol.pdx.edu. At the
site if you click the links, information displays below, keeping you on the
same page. I see this in FAQs as well. Is this simple to do?

What's your email address? I can send you a tutorial if you want (sorry,
haven't ever gotten around to posting it online yet...)

You can use the 'swapclass' extention to achieve the effect. In this
tutorial it shows how to built a drop down menu. However it can easily
be used for what you need to use it for.
