Why? Looking at your flash site...it's nice (for a flash site ;o) but I
don't see why you'd need to open a pop-up window for it. Why not just let it
load as-is and drop the whole spash screen?

Do you care more about yourself or your potential audience? ;o)

You don't necessarily need a splash page for that.

Eh, well, yea, if you are doing an all-flash site, then that's one option.

Well, for the record, while you can certainly make a pop-up window that does
that, some of the newer browsers prevent you from forcing some of those
issues on the end-user. So you can't be guaranteed any of that anyways.

Also, you're popping up a window that is over 900 pixels wide...what are
folks that use 800 pixel monitors going to do?

As for your original question, I'm not sure why the link isn't working at
all. But that isn't the best way to make a pop-up anyways. Try this:
