hi all,

installed DW8 yesterday and i've been working with it for hours with no
problems at all......

this afternoon i tried to rename the "images" folder for one of my sites
and it gave me a strange error (which i of course forgot to write down....)

closed the proggy and now on re-opening it opens, displays all the
panels and then comes up with an "application error" and closes....
tried restarting, uninstalling and re-installing but nothing seems to
work.....

does anyone have any suggestions?

btw, i'm running XP Pro with SP2, F-prot antivirus and zonealarm.....

cheers

You can try this simple fix -

Quit DW.

Find this folder -

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
MX 2004\Configuration\SiteCache\<sitename>

and delete it.

Restart DW. Works better?
