Can I make layers not scroll with rest of the page? Like a non scrolling
background.

I need to have some sponsor adds on the right side of my webpage but I do not
want the adds to scroll with the page as the user scrolls down.

I do not want to use a seperate frame to hold the adds still. I did have it
this way before but It caused a horizontal scrollbar on certain linked pages I
wish to have viewed in my main content window.
I'm new to webdesign so hardcore coding is beyond me at this point.

Please help!!

It's cheesy, choppy, and annoying, but go to Marja Ribbers-de Vroed's site
http://www.flevooware.nl/dreamweaver, and look for her persistent layer
extension.

Its motion is choppy on different browsers.

Thankyou!! Worked a treat but as you you said, it jerks a little. They'll have to live with it.
Thankyou again. You scored +5 Karma points!
