hi there, im very new to web design, i have built all my pages on photoshop and
now linked them on dreamweaver using templates, everything is working great
apart from im trying to link PDF files to open through adobe reader when a
button is pressed, all the PDF's are sitting in my root folder and they appear
on the site map in the place i want, they just dont want to link. Could someone
talk me through the procedure step by step. treat me as a complete idiot cause
im that new to this. thanx

It would be the same as linking to another page or a graphic or whatever.
eg:

Click to view our pdf document

Highlight the text link and in the property inspector find the file you want
to link to.

Better remove the 'target' attribute. In the worst case the user will
end up with a download dialog _and_ a useless empty browser window.
