Author Problem installing DW8 Trial

Towards the end of the install process I get an obscure message saying
that DW could not write something ending in .jsp in the registry (sorry
I did not take note of the exact message). DW said the install process
was stopped and DW was not installed. Curiously I could launch it
though... I tried to uninstall DW but could not because there is no
uninstall program... I am stuck.

Can you please help me?
