| Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, and I don't know what setting
controls this behavior if it is only that. I have the Word Wrap checkbox
unticked and yet in Code View, my code appears like this.
1>
2>SOME CODE THAT EXTENDS TO THE END OF MY WINDOW
THE CODE IS CONTINUED HERE
3>
4>
5>
I notice a little +/- sign next to it as well.
How can I set this back to the traditional no-wrapping view. Apparently, Word
Wrap does not control it.

| Got it.
Looks like there are two places where this can be changed. In the Code View window itself and on the "Preferences" menu as well. But for some reason, I guess they're not linked. Odd.

| When working in the code view of dreamweaver I have to horizontally scroll
to see this line,
<div id="subPeople" style="position:absolute; left:139px; top:410px;
width:120px; height:85px; z-index:5; visibility: hidden;"
onMouseOver="MM_showHideLayers('subPeople','','show')"
onMouseOut="MM_showHideLayers('subPeople','','hide')"> .
I would like DW to wrap so I can see it on the one screen. Is there an
option somewhere in DW I can chose?
Thanks

| whilst in code view, on the right hand side of the toolbar there is a small
icon, yellowey/grey looks like bullet points, its view options, click on that
and then choose word wrap. that should sort it for you :)
