I have v7 (or mx 04 or what ever)
If I install v8, and decide not to keep it, how easy is it to go back ?
is it buggy ?

Same here.

Very easy. DW8 (as with all versions of DW) installs into its own folder so
it's segregated from older versions.
If you uninstall DW8, you can continue with MX 2004 as if you'd never
installed DW8.

Nothing I've found yet (after 2 whole hours). Download a Trial and see for
yourself :-)

| Yes and yes
Upon launching the Trial version it presents you with radio buttons asking
if a) you have a Serial No and want to activate DW or b) you just want to
run the Trial.
Select b) and trial away.
