how do i stop the members from saving their details on they pc, this would mean
they HAVE to type then in each time.

i.e. user names and password.

i have seen it on some sites i have been on in the past.

That's pretty much an operating system and/or browser-specific feature.
These usually appear when an authentication header is sent to the browser
from the web server a la OS or web server based authentication. If you
control authentication via server-side code (ASP, PHP, etc.), then no
authentication header is sent, thus no prompt to save username/password.
But *you* have to provide all the necessary code to ensure proper security
when you do it this way.

Best regards,
Chris
