I just went to the MM site a while back and saw that Studio 8 has been
released. The trial versions of the various products are also available
although they seem to have weird .dmg extensions.

Yes - it seems that the release is today.

James - it looks like you have selected the Mac version - *.dmg is a Mac
version of a disc image - similar to something Nero would produce like an
ISO file.
