Hi
I'm using dreamweaver MX 2004 with an XP Pro , and I want to create a site
using AspVbs with a mysql database.
I created the database but i couldn't create the connection (DSN or custom
connection). i installed myODBC 3.51 and 5.0,
when i begin creating the connection from the system data source and test it,
it says connection made successfully, but when i choose it from the data source
it tells me "[MySql][ODBC 3.51 Driver ] Can't connect to mysql server on
'localhost' (10050)".
Please what shoul i do to create this connection.

sounds like a permissions problem. Is the database on the server the web site
is on? if no then the database location is incorrect also. the error message
number will give you additional info at MySQL.org
