Author what I get ain't what I see... but why!

I like what I get - the navigation here is just as it should be in both FF
and IE
http://www.evangelista-web.com/dev/kanab_city_temp/

However - I don't like how DW is showing it to me in 'design view'

Why does DW push that last 'contact' button onto its own line, when both
browsers show it all as fitting perfectly on the main row?

Is there any way to fix this, either within DW or via css?

This is going to be really annoying otherwise.

DW is not a WYSIWYG editor... it is a visual editor :)

Apply a design time style sheet to the page in DW and play with a few rules
that modify the amount of padding/margins on each nav item. Another idea,
set a rule for:
#contact {display: none;}

Hi Kindler -

I understand about DW not being a true WYSIWYG - but the fact it was showing
that menu as out-of-whack was a clue to me that something was wrong.

Sure enough, taking your advice to re-examine my margins and padding, turns
out I had a containing div with a left margin, and the div inside it with
left padding - deleting the padding and raising the margin has the same
effect visually, and DW displays it correctly, too.

So now I wonder, does DW have a block-level bug, too?
( with stuff like this, I would think IE would show the problem before DW
would)

Sorry Michael, but I'm not sure if DW has a block level rendering bug.
Personally, I will always verify anything within the target browsers
whenever I make any changes and not rely on DW for any type of rendering of
the page.
