I'm trying to add another product page to my website. I have the yahoo
extension to do this. The site was defined in the Yahoo merchant solutions
menu. Now I'm trying to add another page and it says that my site had not been
set up for use with Yahoo! Store. But is has. I've used to product wizard
before on this site and now for some reason it says I can't. Please help.
Dreamweaver is starting to give me so many headaches.

also. I detached a template to make some changes and tried to reapply it. This doesn't seem to be working. Reapplying simply puts an EXTRA template next to the one that is detached on the page.

I'm not sure I completely understand what you're saying, but let me give it a
shot:
1. If the Yahoo account is telling you that you don't have it setup for the
Yahoo store, that's likely something you want to contact Yahoo about, not a
Dreamweaver issue. Simply becuase if it was a Dreamweaver issue you wouldn't
receive a Yahoo message, get what I'm saying?

2. When you reapply your template, what are you doing? File->Save, File->Save
as Template, etc... Because when you reSAVE your template, there is no reason
it should make a copy of the file. Whereas, of course, if your doing Save as
Template, you could get duplicates.
Does it have the same filename? I would check the extension and check
your preferences to see if you have your 'reapply' pref's set to something
different, like creating a temp file, which could cause a problem similar to
the one you're having.

Hope that helps!

<ouch>

You have irreversibly removed your page from the template. It sounds to me
like you have made many mistakes here. Teasing a solution out of this mess
is going to be hard, I'm afraid.

The message I'm getting is a dreamweaver message. I added the Yahoo! Merchant Solution extension. But the message that says I haven't defined the site is a dreamweaver message.

How is detaching a template irreversible?

You cannot reattach it.

The only way to get that page back under template control would be to spawn
a new child page, copy and paste from the existing page, and then
overwriting the old page with the new one. Even then, you would lose the
changes you detached in order to make, doncha know?

Thanks for a helpful (rather than critical) response.

You're welcome. You are in the soup now - I sure don't want to make things
worse for you. On the other hand, error on top of error is hard to reverse.

When I find that I must make a change that my template is not allowing me to
make, I will go back and redesign the template. Detaching pages is a bad
way to go....
