Dreamweaver - keeping external links for updating

Does DW MX have a place in the program where you can make a library of external
links. The last program I used had an area where I could enter the text of the
link and then the actual link. This was very helpful when updating outdated
links. I could enter the new address and it would update througout the site. Is
this possible in Dreamweaver?

Please don't suggest Library Items as this could get messy since DW won't
allow to group into folders.

you can do a search and replace

search in Code:

http://youroldlink.com

replace with:

http://yournewlink.com

and do it for the 'entire site'

I don't really understand your question, but would the "Links" part of the
Asset panel help you?
