Microtabs on MM's product pages

| I'm wondering how Macromedia is doing their Microtabs hiding and showing
divs underneath the tab navigation bar without the content moving in the
viewport. Is it done purely via CSS or are they passing a variable to
javascript using the rel attribute of the anchor? If so, how is the variable
being passed? You will note that the tabbed section fully displays if
javascript is disabled when the page is loaded -- which leads me to think
that javascript is used.
This behavior is seen on http://www.macromedia.com/software/dreamweaver/
among other product pages in the site.
Has anyone deconstructed this behavior, and can shed some light on it for
those of us with inquiring minds?
Happy looking,

| Hey Michael, did you ever get any information on how to re-create the tab effect on the Macromedia site?
any help would be much appreciated.

Christian,
Sorry to say I haven't. I've also been on vacation for the past two weeks,
and took a nice break from web development.
I hope we'll see an article on the MM Dev site before too long.
