Preview in IE problem

| Hi,
I'm new to this [forums, that is]...
I'm woring with a group of others on a new website. We're using Dreamweaver MX
2004 [Windows] with php. Everyone else can preview pages but when I use f12, IE
opens up to the site's home page (minus headlines & some of the graphics). It
then acts like it's trying to open a page; the little blue bar at the bottom
moves along slowly to about a quarter of the way across, the stalls out after a
few minutes. This happens whether I'm trying to preview on my local site (which
doesn't have php) or the remote (which does). I've been told I may need a php
module but can't find anything in Dreamweaver tech help about that. I just
upgraded from DW MX to a trial version of DW MX 2004 and am waiting for my box
to arrive so that I can get the product number & call tech support. In the
meantime, I wondered if anyone else had any ideas. Thanks!
ps: one other note: I could not preview pages on another site (that did not
have php) with this same computer. Could it be my computer?

| Do you have a testing server specified in your site definition?
