Author Template Does Not Preview

I have created a page that previews fine in browsers, then save it as a
template >Make New from Template then save the page, but the child cannot find
the graphics folder, even though it is in the same root folder? The new page
appears with / in front of all the files that were graphics/ in the original,
just as the template has.

What have I done? What must I do?

Is that folder *in* the templates folder?

Are you using Root Relative Links?

Are you using temp files to preview?

Oh, I see that you are using ROOT RELATIVE links. Then you need to enable
temp files (EDIT | Preferences > Preview in Browser) to see these links
work. Just don't click away from the page you are previewing - then nothing
will work again.

Thank you so much. I had used Root Relative links when I did the original
template, then when I saw the slashes (/)in front of my folders I changed the
code using find and replace (change /graphics to graphics) and saved the
changes. This did not fool DW! So I rebuilt it changing all references to
document relative ( and I did the little Enable temp files trick as well).

It all appears to be going ok now. Thanks again. - Doug
