Hi All.

Last week I started to get a message, saying: Loading Database Schema

I'm getting this message, when saving, trying to open a recordset and
so on. It is driving me crazy, I have wasted so much time du to this
issue. The dialog box closes after a couple of minutes, some times it
appears several times.

Whether I let it time out or cancel it, it kills the IIS on the testing
server and locks the database, I have to kill the inetinfo.exe process
first and then I can restart the IIS Service.

I'm running:

* Windows XP Pro + XP SP2, both at home and at work, no programs and DW
extensions has been installed for a long time.
* Dreamweaver MX 2004 Version 7.01

Are there anyone who have a solution to this problem. I've noticed that
there has been several mails regarding, but no actual solution.

Kind regards

Is the DNS pointing directly to your webserver's ip?

I am working in ASP and this problem - at least in my experience is tied to the
amount of data returned by the Recordset. If I am limiting my database returns
with a variable and the default value is set to include too much I get the
Loading Database Schema screen and usually hangs DW up for a while - does the
same thing everytime I try to do anything. If I change the default value to
return a smaller amount of data I don't get the problem. Once I see the
"Loading Database Schema" window, I usually have to shut Dreamweaver down to
clear whatever is getting hung up. This is not really a solution since in some
cases you do need to return large amounts of database but it is workaround in
some cases.
