Hi, I've just downloaded Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 zip file for windows
from Macromedia website. When I try to install it on my PC, I get the
following error "crc error in dreamweaver mx 2004 installer.exe". My operating
system is Windows XP. Could somebody kindly tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Many thanks in advance

I think that to keep trying downloading the file won't have any effect. the
files on macromedia servers are corrupted ! i've tried downloading the english
and french versions several times and got the same crc error every time,
exactly at the same place, so i guess that this is not the download that fails,
the file is correctly downloaded but it's corrupted at the source on the
server...
It's not a new problem for Macromedia and I find it very disappointing that
they don't do anything to correct that definitively.
Also, I've never used any kind of download accelerator, use IE under XP. I've
tried increasing my cache size but no effect...

Just downloaded both the English and French trial versions with no
problem. The files are not corrupt.
