Is it possible to apply a template to muliple pages all at one time.??

No. Further, applying templates to pages that already have content is a
troublesome procedure, since you must then put all of that content into a
single editable region, and edit OUT the redundant content on each page.

The best way to bring a non-template controlled site into a template's
control is to spawn a new page from the template, copy and paste content
from an existing page, and then save the new page over the old one.

Clearly, it's a page-by-page process....
