|

| Somehow all of a sudden my typing in plain text on a basic html page seems tp
be double spacing when I hit the return button. How can I go back to a simple
single space while typing.
I have tired everything I know with no luck.
I am using Dreamweaver MX 2004 Ver 7.xxxx
Thanks,
Woody

| When you hit the enter (return) key you tell dreamweaver to start a new
paragraph. To type in single space as you so desire don't hit return
and let the text wrap naturally. If you have a shorter sentence for
example an address then hit shift+enter and you will insert a break <br>
tag that will single space it for you.

| Use CSS to set the margin of the <p> tags.

The computer is not a typewriter. Do NOT hit return at the end of each line.
Just let the text wrap.
Hitting return is how you create new paragraphs.
