Author Inserting Page name

:confused;

I am wanting to insert my site name so it appears in the browser title bar or
tab. I have saved the pages made sure that the page properties are sorted.

Does any one have any ideas why it would always be named 'untitled document'.
I sure this has a very simple answer, but I can't sort it.

Any ideas??

Hi Benny,

the easiest way to do this is (depending which version of Dreamweaver you are
on?) Open your page and then go to Modify>Page Properties in Page Properties go
to Title/Encoding and in the title area you will see Untitled Document delet
this and change it to whatever and then press OK.

Is this a framed site?

You are using frames. When the browser loads the frameset page, it always
displays the title that is specified in the FRAMESET file, not any of the
individual frame files. Change it there (in the frameset file) to see it
appear.

You can edit the frameset's title by opening it in DW, and using MODIFY |
Frameset > Edit NoFrames Content.

You're welcome. Now quit using frames before you hurt yourself.
