hot spot on css <div> layout area?
|
|
| Michael Evangelista 2005-07-28, 11:43 pm |
| i think I already know the answer to this, but is there any way to put a hot
spot 'image map' on an image that is called as a css background?
Again on this same site http://www.evangelista-web.com/dev/nedras/index.html
With table layout I would normally slice that image, and insert the logo
part as a linked graphic back to the home page.
Not a big deal on this small site, but I am wondering if there is any way to
draw a hot spot, or otherwise give the appearance of a link from the graphic
in the header.

Background images cannot contain hotspots.
Just margin a div into that area containing a transparent GIF image, and put
the hotspot onto the GIF.
