| Hi, I was just curious if anyone knew how to open a webpage in a new window
using something i created in flash. I know I have to set it up in the behavior
panel in flash but I wanted to know if there was a certain script I had to
write in flash in order to open the window up in a certain height and width. In
Dreamweaver, it asks you what size you want to open the browser but in flash it
doesn't. Please help. Thanks

| There is a tech note on the Macromedia web site about how to do this, as
well as in the documentation that comes with Flash I believe.

| You can use the Open Browser Window Behavior to open a new browser window of a
specific width and height to match the dimension of the Flash movie. If you
have you Flash media set up in it's own web page, and use that as the URL to
display in your Behavior, then I think that will do it for you. The object and
embed tags in the Flash web page will give you the dimensions of your Flash
movie.

| Actually I wanted to know how to set the width and height of a new browser
window through flash. If anyone knows the actionscript for that, it would be
great. I know how to set up the dimensions in dreamweaver but I am making a
Flash site and wanted to be able to open up an new browser window by clicking
on it and having it open up in a certin size.
