. . . the Justice Department wants to take a closer look at the proposed
buyout of Macromedia by Adobe. Both software makers are major players in
the desktop publishing and web development fields, and the DOJ want to
be sure that they understand the impact that such a deal would have on
the industry. Adobe is still optimistic that the deal will go through as
planned.

Interesting. I'm one who hopes it doesn't go through. I like more choices.

It'll most likely still go through, though.
