| Hi, is there a way to submit a form in a page every X seconds ?
Sometimes my client fills out a form and then walks away, the system times
him out and all the information he/she entered is gone, if I am able to
submit the form that updates the record every X seconds then even if the
client walks away the information that was changed will be saved.
What would be a downside of this ?

The form might well submit itself right in the middle of the user
filling out the form.

| Yes, I am aware of this, that is why the timeout will be set high, like 30
min. A User never takes that long in filling out one single form, if it
happens is because he/she stepped away. Also they will be able to set their
own timeframe for the auto-save, 30 min will be the default.
Any ideas on how to do it ? The time out is stored in a session variable
(Session = Timeoutform)

Sorry, I've never changed the defaults.
