Locking a editable region

| Hi there.....I'm using Dreamweaver MX and I wanting to know if it is possible
to lock the width of an editable region. I have created a template with a
editable region in it. Problem is...when I add too much text to a link.....it
doesn't just go to the next line...its pushes the width of the region
bigger..ruining the look of my design. Any help would be fantastic.
Thank you in advance

| An editable region is not a layout tool. If you want to lock widths, you
would do that to the element within which you have placed the editable
region. And it sounds like that would be a table cell, since it's expanding
with a long link (containing no spaces). You can lock that width in some,
but not all, browsers, but the solution is as bad as the problem since the
long text gets truncated.
I think it's time for a rethink on this layout....
