Arrrrrgghh?
I?m hoping somebody could ?re-explain? some template basics to me, as I?m in
the middle of creating my first template site ever, for a client who wants to
eventually edit it with MM Contribute.

1.) I understand you can create DW templates so the Contribute user can decide
whether certain elements are visible or not? How do you do that? I have a
total CSS/table-less layout, and for the gallery, I?ve created ?slots? for 15
pics . ? but to start off, the client will only want to display about 9 or so
pictures. so i want the client to be able to decide how many of the "slots" or
pictures are showing at any given time.

2.) How do you limit the Contribute user?s text options (color pallet, text
size, etc)?

3.) And I?m having a problem understanding how to use the editable regions.
I?m working on a rather simple 4page site, but each page has a ?slightly? diff
look. I made the large < div >s editable so that ?I? could change the looks on
each page accordingly, but I don?t want the client to be able to change the
whole div.. just certain sections of the divs (phots/text contained within).
what is the best way for me to use editible areas? both for me during the site
creation, and for the client & MM Contribute, once the site has been deployed?

I?ve been googling around, and trying to figure out when to use what sort of
editable regions, as well as parameters, and expressions.. and?arrrgh.. i'm not
understanding what "color" or "url" have to do with giving the contribute user
permissions to make parts of the site visible or not, or restrict what size
images or text she/he can upload or use on the site!!.. the more googling i do,
the more confused i seem to be getting!!!

FYI's: using MX2004, Contribute 3.01, and have created the basic template,
and 4 child pages.. just not sure how to proceed!!
