Problems Opening Dreamweaver

| Hiya,
Just wondering if anyone can help, Dreamweaver has decided not to play today!
I keep getting a message saying:
While executing onLoad, the following JavaScript error(s) occured: At line 35
of file 'C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
MX\Configuration\Startup\EM_Install.JS' Refernece error: pwfile is not defined.
When I click on OK a fatal exception error comes up and Dreamweaver terminates.
I have tried to uninstall it, but it wont take it off my system???
Any ideas what I can do or what might be causing the problems??
Thanks

| You probably installed an extention that messed up DW.
You can try deleting the folders and registry entries... not for the faint
at heart.
Otherwise format hard drive, and start re-installing.

A bit drastic, wouldn't you say?
Contact MM Tech support before doing anything else.

| Hiya,
Thanks for your help, i don't really want to wipe my hard drive, I will try
the MM support first. I can't understand why this problem has happened as I
have been using Dreamweaver all week. Oh well these things are sent to test us!!
Thanks

| You can also try this simple fix -
Quit DW.
Find this folder -
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
MX 2004\Configuration\SiteCache\<sitename>
and delete it.
Restart DW. Works better?
