Embed HTML in HTML
|

| Hi all,
I just succeeded to embed an HTML file into an HTML file. It looks perfect on
Mac platform but on PC platform I have like a border around the embedded file
and it shows the scroll arrows as well, even that the file is a perfect match
(no scroll bars necessary)
My question is, is there a way to get rid of this border and the scroll bar?
Many thanks in advance,
P@
PS Here is the code I used:
<object codetype="text/html" data="/test.html" type="text/html" width="775"
height="300">
<embed src="/test.html" width="775" height="300"></embed>
</object>

That doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I'm surprised it worked at all.
Server Side Includes would be a much better approach, IMHO.

| Do you mean that we have to run some kind of server technology to get this
Server Side Include? Or is something which is build in standard in
Dreamweaver/HTML?
We are talking about one page here, so I don't know if setting up a server for
this is really worth it...
Please advice.
Many thanks!

| It's standard HTML. Read DW's F1 help about "Server-side includes".
