Joe,
Do you participate in any of the same forums that gajett (Greg) does? I
believe he's a hardware geek of the finest kind. He's been on either
issues at PVII or P@atty's site today helping out with a hard drive failure.

| you probably have two raid controllers on yoru mobo, you might need to
install your second controller in windows.

| OK. Panic over - there are 4 SATA sockets on the mobo of the second
machine - 2 are RAID (didn't work) 2 are not RAID (now works). I have
the old HD connected and i'm backing up before returning to the original
machine.
