| Hi, I was used to using HomeSite for a long time but have recently moved to
Dreamweaver (for UTF-8 support). However, there are two main things that I
cannot find in Dreamweaver and I don't know if they exist or not. 1. Open From
Web In HomeSite you can enter a url and HomeSite would load the file and open
it. Handy for opening JavaScript, CSS and other files for viewing (ie not thru
FTP). 2. Open File In Dreamweaver If an extension isn't known to HomeSite, you
can open it anyway. HomeSite will prompt you if you want to open it in
HomeSite, another application, or skip the file. In Dreamweaver I haven't found
this function. I have found the location where you can specify extensions (and
I have already added .tmpl, .xsl, .properties) but I haven't found a way to
work it for files that have no extension at all... I hope these functions are
available in Dreamweaver and that someone can tell me where they are. Rgds,
Jos
