Author Problems w/ images in templates

When I take a .php file that has images pulled from a mysql db and make it into
a template, the images no longer appear and instead I get images of a red X
(I'm using IE to test the page out). The PHP file works fine until I convert it
to a template. Both the database and the recordset connections test out fine.
I've tried opening the template and then saving it as just a regular PHP file
but that won't work either. Once it goes from being a normal PHP file to a
template then there is no going back, even if I save a file based on the
template as just a normal PHP file. I've even compared the code line for line
with no luck. Does anyone happen to know why I'm having this problem? Thanks

I would need to see the HTML code on the PHP page, to know why this is
happening. Can you upload the page somewhere and post a link to it, please?
