I have a Strange problem if I open DreamWeaver Directly as soon as you open a
file DreamWeaver Crashes. It sends a crash report to apple everytime.

If however, I drop the file on the DreamWeaver Icon I have in the Dock,
DreamWeaver opens just fine and remains open. I can work on Multiple Files with
no problem. i was plagued with problem in version 7.0. I now have the same
problem with 7.0.1.

I had installed on OS9 DreamWeaver 6 never could get it work. there. then
install on OSX and worked fine. When I went 7 I started having this poroblem

Do you have both 6 and 7 installed in OSX?

Setting DreamWeaver to open a file on Startup appear to prevent the crash. So it appears a good work around though not a fix.

I really have to question what you are basing this on-

None of those versions share the same files on Macintosh. They are
independent.
MX shares no files with MX 2004
MX on os9 shares no files (except the app itself) with MX on osX

My first guess would be to go into Preferences and turn off showing the
Start Page.

Second guess is that site cache file for the last site worked in before
closing the app is corrupted.

mmm I don't think it real matters what drive mx6 is on. Because mx6 can
run in either OS. Do you have extension loaded in both dreamweavers. If
you do, having the same extensions loaded will mess things up. Did you
ever run MX6 in OSX?

Looked in Both Libraries. can't Find any version 6 files.

Incidentally: my OS9 install is on a separate Hard Drive from my OSX install.

OSX and files are on a 120gb WD Hard Drive.
OS9 is on factory Sony 30GB Hard Drive
