Dreamweaver - fading images

I just dusted off my old DW and fireworks 4. Awhile back I was creating a short
movie clip of about 8 thumbnails.
they'd fade from 1-2-3-etc then repeat.
I'd like to get that thing up and running again, but can't find anything but
animated gif in fw4. The files I was exporting were SWF. and it was a simple
one key operation after selecting the images to include.

Anyone know what I'm talking about and can point me at it ? The helps aren't
hitting with animate, fade, and a few other terms.
