I was recently given the job of developing my clubs site
www.abcwritersnetwork.co.uk and I've had to call here on a number of occasions
to ask, what I suppose were very simple questions.

I quite like Dreamweaver MX and would dearly love to know a bit more about it.
To be able to build a bit more into our site but my proble is I don't have any
background in web design, don't know any code and when people suggest that I
haven't closed an end tag-or something like that-I feel silly.

There is no Dreamweaver courses available at my local Tech and when there was
the guy couldn't teach to keep himself warm. He knew how to use Dreamweaver, he
makes his living at it and he is even quite good. But teach-never!

How does one go about learnig the like of Dreamweaver, at least to a level
where you can build a pretty decent site, remembering that you are coming from
a background of knowing nothing of html or htm?

I've a copy of 'Macromedia Studio MX for Dummies' and 'building web sites with
macromedia STUDIO MX,' and they are both very good in their own right but you
couldn't really start from scratch and learn what's going on. Remember that
it's purely a personal interest so I don't want to spend big bucks. Where do I
go? Can anyone recommend a good online primer I reckon if I get the primer then
I can sort the rest from books.

Many thanks for any suggestions. And hopefully this will help fellow
travellers like myself

Kevin.
