There's a bug with how DW handles negative margins on floated
elements. This prevents DW from being able to display the layout
correctly in the design view. So your stuck with either editing the
page in the odd way it appears in DW, a text editor, or keeping DW
from trying to apply the stylesheets so you at least get a plain, but
perhaps more easy on the eyes, view of the page.

Does anyone have a workaround for this?

The workaround I use is to turn of CSS styles while using the editor. You
can use design-time style sheets for that on a per-document basis, or just
rename the local CSS file while editing your files.

Okay thanks Darrel. Wonder if Macromedia will be putting out a fix for this anytime soon.
