Anti-Aliasing Text in Dreamweaver

| Please help, nearly tore my hair out with this annoying little problem!
I'm relatively new to DW (using MX2004) and am having big problems when trying
to make downloaded fonts appear as they do in Fireworks MX 2004. In FW it is
possible to use anti-aliasing effects to make the fonts appear smooth, but it
doesn't seem possible to do the same in DW.
I've tried every setting I can think of but nothing seems to work in DW. Is
this because it's not possible to add anti-aliasing effects in HTML, or have I
gone completely bananas and are completely missing the point?!
Any help would be really appreciated.

| The effect you're seeing is for antialiasing text that would be used within
a graphic created by Fireworks. The text you see in a web browser (or
Dreamweaver's design view) is being generated by the operating system
(Windows or MacOS). Any antialiasing at this point would be handled by the
OS.
If you're using Macintosh, presumably OSX, then the text will be rendered
antialiased. It's a function of the OS. If you're using Windows, there are
some font smoothing capabilities within the OS in the Display control panel
(if memory serves), but it's not as strong as that found in MacOS.
So, the short story is Fireworks antialiasing is a special beasty, and is
not available in Dreamweaver.
Best regards,
Chris
