Hi
Sorry if this sounds too dumb but I'm still very new to websites etc.
I have a website which I built and its currently out there in
cyberspace however my computer crashed but is now up and running.
I've re-installed the software. I have the main folder with all the
files (ie pages) and two other folders inside the main folder (one
containing cgi-bin and the other containing images).
Can anyone help me get all the data back onto the software then
connect back to the host (server).
My current host only works Mon - Fri. When I asked for help the other
Friday he told me he was busy with a personal problem so I asked if he
could help on the Saturday(thats when I called him) I was told no and
to wait until Monday as he " doesn't do weekends". I explained that my
site was for business and the fact that he didn't want to help out
after taking off Friday wasn't the best PR. His reply was to tell me
what did I expect for £65 per year (+-$100) and please take my
business elsewhere. He now refuses to help and is waiting for me to
change hosting services. This I shall do once I've got everything up
and running again.
Can anyone help me? Maybe one on one via email
