I can find anything in the Macromedia documentation that says that Web Services
shouldn't be available in the components panel for Mac users of Dreamweaver
MX2004. But it isn't there for me. I have tried doing a reinstall of
Dreamweaver (there is no uninstall for the macromedia installer), and using
both JSP and ColdfusionMX server models. With no success. I can connect to the
testing server, and I can work with CFCs and Javabeans in the components panel
for coldfusion and JSP servers respectively. Web Services just doesn't appear
in the drop down menu though. My Questions to the forum are: 1. Are
webservices there for the other Mac Dreamweaver 2004 users? 2. If Yes to 1,
then why isn't it there in mine and why didn't reinstalling dreamweaver fix the
issue? How do I fix it? 3. If No to 1, shouldn't it say so somewhere in the
documentation? Isn't this verging on misrepresentation, this was an advertised
feature for both Mac and PC right?
