| Hi,
I am trying to find out whether there are extensions available to do a fairly
straight forward task of building a list of users logging on a website... (with
eventually a password given to each).
How to go baout it is my question
Thanks

| There are basic login extensions within Dreamweaver MX 2004. There are more
involved extensions available at either http://www.ultrasuite.com (several
server models) or http://www.dreamweavermxsupport.com (PHP only but more
options).
There are tutorials available in the Help menu of Dreamweaver . start there.
You will need to build a database to hold the information re: your users.
If you have never built a database, Access is probably the easiest to learn
although you may wish to go to the more robust mysql or SQL Server.

| Look at the User Authentication server behaviors. The Help file has numerous
topics about them.
